Professor E.B. Yakimov
EBIC and DLTS characterization of semiconductor materials
Eugene B. Yakimov was born in 1947. He graduated from the Moscow Physical Technical Institute in 1971, received the Cand. of Sci. degree in 1978 and Dr. of Sci. degree in 1988. In 1971, he joined the Institute of Solid State Physics USSR Academy of Sciences and in 1984 the Institute of Microelectronics Technology and High Purity Materials USSR Academy of Sciences. He was a visiting professor in Marseille University (France) and in North Caroline State University, Raleigh (USA), had international grants with Milan University (Italy), Max-Planck-Institut fur Festkorperforschung, Stuttgart (Germany) and Technical University of Dresden (Germany). He is currently a Full Professor and the Head of the Laboratory of Semiconductor Materials Local Characterization in the Institute of Microelectronics Technology Russian Academy of Sciences, Chernogolovka, Russia. His current research interests include the electrical and optical characterization of semiconductor materials and structures based on Si, SiC, GaN and Ga2O3.
